Awhile back, a friend of mine had an RX7 that was at the time the nicest car I'd ever driven. Later on, I had a chance to pick up a base model RX7 (not as nice as the TurboII my friend had, but still a cool little car).
Problem was, the motor lasted 10 miles and went south due to the apex seals taking a permanent vacation. For a year, that car sat in the backyard.
After awhile, another friend of mine said "Why not put a V8 in there? You have one already!" Then he showed me the Granny's web site and that sealed the deal.
Once I got that one running, I kept my eyes open for a deal on a newer body style RX7. I found a rolling chassis (missing the motor, trans and a buch of other stuff). It was relatively cheap do I went for it. This website is all about that car.
